In KNUCA the sports work is divided into two main directions: physical education in accordance with the curriculum and sports. It has a noble mission – to maintain the athletic image of the KNUCA at high level and to educate and encourage the students to lead healthy lifestyle basing on Ukrainian traditions of physical culture and sports development.

More than 600 students improve their athletic skills, 109 of them are incorporated in the rector’s order to promote their sports training.
The internal sports program is the main sport event that helps in formation of the team of the University; it is held on 12 sports. The athletes of the KNUCA are worthy of acting at city Spartakiads and Universiades. The University has 14 masters of sports, among which there are two international masters of sports. The level of their skills is very high:

Arshulov Andrii – the prizewinner of the Ukrainian boxing championship;
Ignatenko Vladyslava – is the silver medal winner of the World Underwater Sports Cup, the winner of the Ukrainian Cup of finswimming;
Kovpak Andrii – is the champion of Ukraine in kickboxing;
Kozubovska Kateryna – world champion in military-sports multiathlon (double combat event);
Kolpakchi Alice – the winner of the World Cup of Paratriathlon;
Moskalenko Danylo – the winner of the European championship in “Dragonboot”;
Nabutovskyi Vladlen- is the winner of the European championship in Kungfu;
Savchenko Oleskandr – the silver prize winner of the International championship in powerlifting;
Sologub Andrii – the champion of Ukraine in Taekwondo;
Tabanets Vitalii – European Championship prizewinner in para-rafting;
Tsykanovska Veronika – is the prize winner of Ukrainian chess championship;

The students of the University take an active part in most of the events that are held in Solomyansky district and in the city of Kyiv sponsored by the NOC of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
