An expert analyzes the condition of hydraulic facilities and hydroelectric power stations, develops projects of construction, restoration, and reconstruction operation of hydraulic facilities and hydroelectric power stations organizes construction of buildings, which contact with water surface (waterways, sea and river port buildings, piers for sports and recreational vehicles, locks, dams and levees, etc.), organizes corrective underwater works, provides administrative and economic support of construction works. Graduates hold leadership positions in organizations of design, construction, operation of hydraulic facilities and hydroelectric power stations in basin, regional departments of water resources and departments of channels.
